Cal Kids' Day Video

This is a quick project I had to put together at my internship at Row27. I was given just a week to come up with the concept and put it together using the assets I was given. Images were created in Photoshop, everything else was made in After Effects.

Ticketmaster Partner Summit Promo Video

As a part of my internship at Row27, I made this web promo video for the Ticketmaster's Partner Summit conference. This was the first task they had given me some creative control over. I was provided with all the movie and photo elements, a script, and the music for it. I was also given examples of their branding and was told to make it match it. The video was edited in Final Cut, and everything else was made in After Effects.

Guitar Center Spec Ad

For my final project in my Advanced VFX I class, I made this piece. I took handheld footage I shot downtown Minneapolis of three billboards, tracked them, and then replaced them with new billboards with 3D objects that protrude from them. The piece is geared as a spec ad for Guitar Center. Tracking was done in PF Track. Modeling and animating was done in Maya. Compositing in After Effects.

Screen Surge Studios Logo

This piece was completed as a part of a Master-Servant project for my Post-Production Management class. In the assignment, a classmate acted as a "client" and found an existing motion graphic clip and then asked me to recreate it, using just a written description they provide of it. The one I was asked to recreate was from Nylon's demo reel. I was given a week to complete the task and had to teach myself some new techniques in order to animate the cracks into the ground. The TV and cracks were modeled and animated in Maya. The TV screen image and compositing was done in After Effects.

Travel Project

While working on my Mini-apolis project I really liked the how the ambient occlusion passes looked on my model of the city. So I decided to create this quick piece and reuse some of the elements I had already made for Mini-apolis. I used the building models I made before and the vehicle models I had collected to create this short clip, and then rendered them with just color and an ambient occlusion pass. Animation and modeling was all done in Maya.
