This week a took a trip to London to receive the Digital Artists Award for Visual Effects. I won the award for my Mini-apolis project. My project was handpicked by judges from The Mill, MPC and Double Negative out of the other contestants from all over the world.
I submitted my Mini-apolis project to Motionographer and today they featured it under "Student Quickies":
Yesterday my school held its annual Blockhead Festival where VFX and Animation students submit their work for judging in four different categories. Of the two categories I submitted to, Visual Effects and Motion Graphics, I won 1st place in both, for a total prize winning of $1,200.
